Illig (CHS, 1950), compiler of a two-volume collection of photocopied Central High School memorabilia, "Our Lady on the Hill." These 3 scrapbooks probably came from Bob Illig's Central High School research (see: MG Central H.S. and 373.74932 Ou71 v.l-5). There is a note on one scrapbook to "Bob". However, as provenance is not specifically noted, these scrapbooks were kept separately.
These are different than Illig's binders as they are PAPER scrapbooks that appear to be created in the 1930s and 1940s. Illig's scrapbooks under MG Central High are created in the 1990s and are in binders. The 3 scrapbooks...

The biggest Newark papers are the Newark Daily Advertiser (19th century) the Newark News (also known as the Newark Evening News or Newark Sunday News, 1883-1972) and the Star Ledger (became the largest paper after the News).
